Shuttle Driver - Transportation
Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula
Under the leadership of the security department director and the shuttle supervisor, the shuttle driver is responsible for driving staff to and from work from designated locations in the community while abiding by all traffic laws. The shuttle driver is responsible for enforcing all established hospital policies and procedures. Important dimensions of this position consist of professional commitment, interpersonal skills, safety, and good public/customer relations.
Previous experience in driving large shuttle busses is required. Able to drive standard and automatic preferred. Good customer service skills. Must have basic computer skills.
High school diploma, G.E.D. or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
Must possess, as a minimum, a valid California class C driver's license with passenger endorsement. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required. MOAB certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire.
An acceptable driving record of three points or less and participation in the DMV pull-notice program. Able to be flexible with work schedule.
