Monday -Thursday/ 10:00am-3:30pm



Under the leadership of the department director and assistant director, the senior administrative assistant is responsible for the completion of daily clerical operations within the department. Independently preforms a wide variety of complex and responsible clerical duties. S/he maintains sensitive and confidential information. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality work, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, reliable, excellent communication skills, good public/customer relations and a broad clerical knowledge.


Two to three years of secretarial or administrative assistant experience required. Working knowledge of office equipment. Knowledge of PC systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and word processing systems required. Experience in agenda planning, meeting minutes, electronic records keeping, travel coordination, and project planning.


High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in related field. Some college or business courses preferred.
