Senior Administrative Assistant - Security

The Senior Administrative Assistant reports to the Assistant Director of Security. S/he will be responsible for office coverage in the absence of the Administrative Specialist. S/he supports the Director, Assistant Director and the Supervisors as needed. S/he will be responsible for coordination and completion of daily operational functions within the department. S/he performs duties including, but not limited to, greeting those entering the office, answering and directing incoming phone calls, ordering supplies, reserving conference rooms, photo ID badging, assisting with "key safe" and employee lockers.
High School diploma or equivalent; college level courses in business or computer science preferred. Minimum of one year administrative assistant experience required. A working knowledge of office equipment. Computer skills required with working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) applications and intermediate level keyboarding.
Knowledge of Access is preferred.
