Job Description:

Responsible for defining the project scope and deliverables, developing and maintaining the project plan, which outlines specific project tasks, milestone dates, and project success criteria. Manages stakeholder and customer expectations. Creates and manages internal and external staff and project schedules; facilitates communication with the project team and associated stakeholders. Coordinates activities and schedules of the technical, operations, and other staff associated or assigned to the project team. Directs and coordinates tasks and activities with outside vendors. Using organizational change management concepts, identifies and coordinates the training needs for operational and HIT staff to ensure successful adoption of new technology. Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Strong decision making and analytical abilities. Strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills. Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Experience

Four (4) or more years’ experience in managing multiple complex IT applications or hardware implementations simultaneously. Sound understanding of hospital operations and inter-departmental procedures and functions. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills required.  Detail focused. Ability to work comfortably under stress and against deadlines. Knowledge of the Microsoft operating system(s). Knowledge of communication applications and protocols is desirable.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience using Project Management Software (MS Project or ServiceNow SPM)
  • Experience with an Enterprise Ticketing System (ServiceNow)

Education/ Licensure/Certifications

Bachelor's degree in project management, business management, computer science, or other technology-based disciplines.

Knowledge of standard PC software application for word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software is desired.
