· Starting Pay range DOE: $44.17/hour - $53.57/hour

Position Summary

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for delivering quality patient care to all patient populations in the Breast Care Center, as well as other areas of service. The Mammography Technologist possesses skills and knowledge to competently provide quality screening and diagnostic breast imaging services with proper documentation of mammography record requirements and radiation safety, while maximizing the use of equipment and resources. The technologist will also perform 3D breast ultrasound (ABUS). This individual also interacts in a positive, service-oriented manner with patients, medical staff, and peers, and performs all RIS and HIS procedures in the area of assignment.

Experience/Skill Set:

· Mammography experience of at least three years is preferred


· As necessary to obtain required licensure.


· Current licensure with the State of California in Diagnostic Radiography and Mammography required

· Current licensure with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists for Mammography preferred

· American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required
