Under the leadership of the department director and their assigned supervisor, the Food Service Worker 1 (Main Hospital) is an entry level food service position with a variety of duties, including assembly of patient trays on trayline and basic food production. Duties may also include: dishwashing, potwashing, environmental cleaning, sanitation and waste disposal, delivery and retrieval of patient tray and/or carts, and delivery of food and non-food supplies.

Experience:

Fluency, the ability to communicate orally, and the ability to read and write in English is required. Passing a basic reading and math test is required. Working quickly and accurately is required. Food Service experience is preferred.

Education:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education or experience in related field required.
