Position Summary:
Under the leadership of the Accounts Payable supervisor, the Accounts Payable representative compiles and reviews A/P documents and prepares documents for processing, processes A/P check runs, prepares demand checks, responds to department managers, employees, and other inquiries, prepares and maintains A/P records and reports. Additional duties are performed as assigned.

Experience with and working knowledge of computer terminals. Two years experience in a high volume accounts payable department (a minimum of 350 invoices per week per person). Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with hospital staff and outside vendors. Must be well groomed and have a professional appearance.


High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in related field.
