Under the leadership of the department director, assistant director, nursing supervisor, and/or charge nurse, the registered nurse is responsible and accountable for planning directing, assessing and providing nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the hospital and department. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a broad nursing knowledge.

The RN will participate in a 12 week formal training program including didactic and clinical components. Training will take place on all shifts (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., and 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.) Post training, shifts and unit assignments will vary until placement into a permanent position in one of the inpatient nursing departments.


Prefer current nursing experience. New graduates are welcome.


Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.


State of California RN license required. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required.
