CHOMP is looking for a detailed, organized, great communicator to fill the Records Analyst role available in Health Information Management. If you are a quick learner, with great computer skills and have precision in time management, we want to hear from you.

Under the leadership of the department director, assistant director and supervisor, the Records Analyst is responsible for maintaining medical records integrity by prepping, scanning and indexing confidential patient health information into the electronic patient file. The incumbent will perform deficiency analysis by working analysis queues of daily discharges and/or physicians and provider's delinquent suspension list and/or transcribed document corrections.

The individual will need to be able to adjust to the workload and be comfortable working at a fast pace in what can be at times a high intensity environment with multiple interruptions. Focusing on the task at hand with efficiency and accuracy is essential to being successful in this role. Prioritization and maintaining and excellent balance work duties are also necessary.


  1. Minimum of one year office experience, preferably in health care.
  2. Basic knowledge of medical terminology, PC skills and basic use of office equipment.
  3. Ability to work under pressure with high degree of accuracy.


High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in related field.
