Position Summary

The PM shift Clinical Supervisor will oversee the safe and effective performance of imaging services, maximizing resources and equipment. Supervisor will oversee staff on the PM shift in CT, MRI, Ultrasound and X-ray. The supervisor position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the assigned areas by maintaining appropriate schedules (both staffing and patient), monitoring performance improvement, safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The supervisor monitors staff performance and participates with the Assistant Director of Radiology in the development of competencies, performance standards, and imaging protocols/standards as well as creating an environment that promotes customer service excellence. This dynamic role will provide administrative and supervisory support to the Assistant Director of Radiology in meeting the clinical needs of physicians and staff members by staying abreast of new developments in diagnostic imaging technology. The PM shift supervisor will interact with patients, public, medical staff and peers in a positive, service-oriented manner while supervising and leading the operation in the area of assignment. The PM shift supervisor will perform diagnostic radiology services and direct patient care as needed as well as other related duties as assigned on the PM shift and every other weekend.

Experience:

· 5 years recent clinical experience as a staff technologist in a diagnostic imaging modality required

· 2 years experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity required

Education

· As needed to obtain proper licensure.

Certification:

· Qualified candidates must have appropriate state and/or national certificate in radiological imaging
