JOB SUMMARY
The Mail Clerk is responsible for the processing of incoming and outgoing mail.

QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to operate mail processing equipment required to fulfill position responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Separate claims from regular mail, sort, count, date stamp and distribute to claims analysts.
* Identify claims for cancelled groups and forward to appropriate address.
* Distribute regular mail to appropriate staff members.
* Collect outgoing mail from various departments and prepare for mailing using Pitney-Bowes postage meter machine.
* Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
* Ability to problem solve.
* Able to work in a team environment.
* Able to conduct oneself in a professional manner.
